BLACK TIGER – Penaeus monodon
This is the main species found in Vietnam. They are mainly grown through
natural farming, (extensive, for large size shrimp), or intensive (for smaller
size shrimp).
WHITELEG – Penaeus vannamei
Fast increasing production of this shrimp means it could overtake Black
Tiger production in the near future.
